Sunscreen blinds come in three degrees of openness – 3% (keeping out 97% of UV), 5% (keeping out 95% of UV) and 10% (keeping out 90% of UV). As you would expect, you can see more clearly through the 10%, more open weave. What is not as intuitively obvious is that you can see much more through a dark coloured sunscreen than through a lighter coloured one of the same weave, while still getting all the benefits of UV and glare protection.
